Emerging Influential Blogs 2012
Here are my choices for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs, 2012 Edition...
Pinay Thrillseeker
The "Index by Location" and the "Itineraries and Expenses" tabs won me over! Those two features made navigation and information gathering so much easier.
Unsugarcoated Reviews
This "consumer's no-nonsense reviews" are what blogs from the good old days are like. If the blogger can sustain this level of brutal honesty without getting sued (cybercrime law libel clause, pffft!), he'd be one heck of an influencer.
Pinoy Pop Culture
I like the mix of new and old (and super old) news. The article about Arrovo bills brought back memories... memories of where I stored my crisp, collectible bank notes.
Troll Alert!
In my book, if a troll openly admits that he's a troll and posts his real photos, he becomes the exact opposite. He actually earned my respect. I have a weird sense of logic, I know.
Untied Escape
Extremely detailed blogs posts about places the author has visited. If you're too lazy to come up with an itinerary, just "copy" hers, but remember to give her proper credit (don't act like an arrogant public official).
So, What's News?
Writing satire is ridiculously difficult, and if the blogger can pull it off without getting sued (curse that Cybercrime Law libel clause), he deserves to be called "influential".
Oh, Beautiful Madness
Interesting writing style from a lady who is obviously a voracious reader. And you know what they say, "readers are better writers".
Never Seconds
Healthy meals for school kids? Is it even possible? Veg (the blogger's nickname) thinks it is.
Davao Eagle
I have been influenced by this blog because I found some interesting places to check out for my upcoming trip to Davao. I appreciate the "costing guide" which helps estimate the budget required for certain activities.
Rappler.com
In my not-so-humble opinion, Rappler.com is more influential than the combined forces of the nine blogs listed above (with all due respect). Headed by Maria Ressa, expect nothing less than journalistic excellence from this "blog".
